Dettmer Rail GmbH develops and implements logistics solutions for block train and single wagonload transport services for its customers in the European rail freight sector. However, we not only focus on block train and single wagonload transportation, but also offer a broad spectrum of supplementary services for fleet management, supply chains and outsourcing projects.
We are opening the important South-East European market with a Dettmer Rail office in Budapest and are present in Katowice from 1 October 2024 with the company Dettmer Rail Polska Sp. z o.o.. It´s our goal to strengthen our sales and operational abilities in Poland and East-Europe.
Although we specialise in transport services for the mineral oil, biofuels and chemicals segments, we also provide services to other industrial sectors. Our core market demands a high standard of quality and reliability in the preparation and implementation of transport services, as well as special expertise for the transportation of hazardous liquids.
We devote particular attention to the use of modern, energy-efficient locomotives that run on electricity from renewable energy sources. The expertise and dedication of our staff are the mainstays of our operational efficiency. Young employees work in tandem with experienced specialists to form a motivated, efficient and solution-orientated team that is committed to our customers.
We ensure that all employees have the best possible qualifications by providing regular training on the subjcts of quality management and hazardous goods.
Our management system is audited for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard every year for DNV management systems certification. We work with a modern IT system in which we process numerous data, including the position reports of the wagons equipped with telematics devices. We attach great importance to the implementation of IT interfaces for the digitisation of our processes.
