Budapest service office

Since the end of 2014, our service office in Budapest has taken over operational responsibility for block train and single wagon transportation in South-East Europe, as well as commercial support for services in this geographical region.

We have many years of experience in regional rail logistics in Budapest as well as an extensive network of relationships. Of course, we also use these advantages for the continued strategic development of Dettmer Rail GmbH in the region.

Our service office in Budapest has specialist expertise in planning and monitoring the transportation of dangerous liquids and carrying liquid gas for import and export. All regional freight requests are managed by the Budapest service office and offered to external and internal customers. Our service office supports our central fleet management in Hamburg with flexible and fast solutions on site.

In operational management of transport services to Southeast Europe, our customers have a central contact in the Hamburg materials planning department – invoicing is also carried out from the head office in Hamburg.

This contact person coordinates and monitors all transportation in Southeast Europe in close cooperation with our service office in Budapest and is provided with the latest information on orders from there.
