Budapest service office
Since the end of 2014, our service office in Budapest has assumed operational responsibility for block train and single wagonload transport in Southeastern Europe, as well as providing commercial support for services in this geographical region.
In Budapest, we have many years of experience in regional rail logistics and an extensive network of contacts. It goes without saying that we also utilise these advantages for the continued strategic development of Dettmer Rail GmbH in the region.
Our Budapest service office has specialist expertise in planning and monitoring the transportation of hazardous liquid goods and deliveries of liquid gas for import and export. All regional freight enquiries are managed by the Budapest service office and offered to external and internal customers. Our service office supports central fleet management in Hamburg with fast, flexible on-site solutions.
Our customers have a central contact person in the Hamburg scheduling department for the operational management of transport services to Southeastern Europe, and invoicing is also handled by the head office in Hamburg.
However, the contact person coordinates and monitors all transport movements in Southeastern Europe in close cooperation with our service office in Budapest, and receives a constant supply of up-to date information on the orders from there.
