Customers have stringent requirements regarding quality and safety, which are firmly anchored core elementsof our corporate philosophy.
In December 2022, DNV confirmed with Management System Certification again that the management system for the scope of
‘Logistic solutions in rail freight transport’ at Dettmer Rail complies with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
We ensure that all staff are ideally qualified through regular training in the areas of quality management and dangerous goods.
LOGISTICS WITH TELEMATICS
Most of our wagon fleet is equipped with telematics.
The device reports the position of the respective wagon, its state of motion as well as critical jolts that could indicate an irregularity. This flood of data is collected, processed and, among other things, graphically displayed on a platform, then summarised in various evaluations or alarm messages.
This allows us to directly keep an eye on the location and route of your transportation with GPS-equipped wagons regardless of other sources of information. If there are any damage reports, we manage the rapid dispatch of mobile service teams to the site with absolute precision. The timely knowledge advantage enables us to intervene more quickly and to monitor the progress of your orders regardless of third-party information.
